Hope Dims for Meade's Recovery Thursday, August 12th, 2021 Shane Meade, the Red Bulls 26-year-old second baseman, suffered a serious injury making a defensive play during yesterday's game at Hellcats Park between Riverside and Jacksonville. It now has been confirmed that he suffered a torn labrum. It looks like the injury likely has ended Meade's baseball career. During the current season Meade is batting at a .314 clip with 7 home runs and 58 RBIs. He has played in 96 games and scored 65 times. |
