Daig Swats 3 Homers Thursday, June 3rd, 2021 Billy Daig of Sandy Springs was on fire with three home runs in the 8-2 win over Phoenix at UFO Field. "The first two I got all of them and it was no doubt they were gone. The last one I got lucky. It seemed like the wind helped it a little. Old Mother Nature helped me get into the record books." For the game Daig was 4 for 5 with 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Billy Daig hit a solo-shot off Hariz Sahir in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Hariz Sahir in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Danh-Canh Tru in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. This season Daig has hit 23 home runs and posted a .329 batting average. |
