Jones Earns May's Top Batter Prize in ACL Tuesday, June 1st, 2021 When Oscar Jones stepped up to the plate in May, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the Alexander Cartwright League Batter of the Month award. The young Riverside shortstop posted a .357 batting average with 11 home runs, 30 RBIs and scored 23 runs. Jones also worked pitchers for 13 walks to post a .452 on-base percentage. This year Jones has batted at a .331 pace with 58 hits, 16 home runs, 43 RBIs and scored 41 times. |
