Newark-Ottawa Brawl, Kubota and Bedford Suspended Sunday, April 18th, 2021 There was a mass free-for-all yesterday at Cobras Ballpark. Both dugouts emptied when Newark's Ikki Kubota and Ottawa's George Bedford scuffled with one another after some heated words. In an official statement today, the league commissioner suspended both parties for 10 games. This season Kubota is batting .243 with 9 hits and no home runs. He has scored 4 times and has 4 RBI. |
