Temple's O'Neil Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Monday, April 12th, 2021 No matter what the Riverside Red Bulls threw at him today, Mark O'Neil hit it. He easily handled Red Bulls pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Goers to a 6-5 triumph at Red Bull Stadium. He told BNN reporters in the postgame interview, "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball." The Riverside skipper quipped, "Well, the next time we might just do that... blindfold him... and then pitch him differently, just to be sure." Mark O'Neil hit a solo-shot off Kulapati Pandian in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th. |
