Cy Young Award Presented by BCL Wednesday, November 5th, 2025 The Chicago clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year John Holmes will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2025 Blake Camden League Cy Young Award. Holmes made 31 starts this year, winning 22 and losing 4. He threw 213.1 innings, fanned 185, allowed 196 hits and 57 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .243 average as he logged an impressive 3.12 ERA. Drstasara Sahni of the Minneapolis Freeze finished second in voting, while Damon Willis of the Detroit Death Stars finished third. |
