Cacti Pitching Ravaged by Georges Sunday, September 7th, 2025 Mdewanketon first baseman André Georges could do no wrong in today's 13-2 win over the Cacti as he collected 5 hits. "In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor... he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Cacti said to the press corps after the game. Georges agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." André Georges hit a two-run single in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Mitsuharu Shionoya in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Esteban Lugo in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Thus far this year Georges has hit .548 with 6 home runs and 21 RBIs. |
