Wolfe's Hit Streak Over Friday, August 29th, 2025 The Bronx Bombers defeated the Detroit Death Stars 8-3 today at The Death Star, but Bradley Wolfe's 39-game hitting string was snapped and went to the wayside. Wolfe went hitless in 3 at-bats. "I enjoyed the streak," the first baseman said in a BNN interview after the game. "It's great in one way, but the day-to-day pressure to keep it going can be tough to handle, too. The main thing is we got the 'W' today. That's all that really counts." This year Wolfe is hitting .356, produced 79 RBIs and 27 home runs, scored 52 times and gotten on base at a .428 rate. |
