Wolfe Extends Hit Streak to 39 Games
Thursday, August 28th, 2025
And the hits just keep on coming -- especially off the red-hot bat of Bradley Wolfe. The Bombers first baseman got 2 hits in 5 at-bats in today's 12-3 triumph over the Detroit Death Stars at The Death Star. Wolfe has now hit safely in his last 39 games.
Asked by the press, how it feels to go through something like this, he replied, "the longer it goes on, the more the pressure intensifies. The press coverage can get relentless at times. I wish I could just go out and play the game without all this distraction, but I know that's not going to happen. I know I will just have to grin and bear it." Bradley Wolfe grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off John Powell in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th.
Wolfe is batting at a .360 pace this season, picking up 96 hits in 267 at-bats with 27 home runs, 79 RBIs and 51 runs scored.
