Wolfe's Hit Streak Soars to 38 Games
Wednesday, August 27th, 2025
The Bombers won the game today, but you would have been hard pressed to find anyone talking about it. The focus seemed to be on first baseman Bradley Wolfe extending his hitting streak to 38 games by going 3-for-5 in the game.
"Sure we are happy that we won, but seeing Bradley extend his streak was also special," said a jubilant Bronx manager. "He's a special player who is capable of doing some amazing things at the plate."
For the record, the Bombers defeated the South Bay Arsenal 8-2 at Cruz Bay Park. Bradley Wolfe singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Koryusai Yamamoto in the 9th.
In his stats this season, Wolfe has posted a batting average of .359 with 94 hits in 262 at-bats, 26 home runs and 75 RBIs. He has also scored 49 runs, walked 31 times and compiled a .429 OBP.
