Júlio Ruíz out of Lineup 4 Months Tuesday, August 26th, 2025 After the end of today's game between Coronado and Detroit, Júlio Ruíz skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after running the bases, the Phantoms had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The center fielder will miss at least 4 months with a ruptured achilles tendon. For the season, Ruíz is hitting at a .299 clip with 14 home runs, 50 RBIs and has scored 52 runs. He has 112 hits, 21 walks and a .342 on-base percentage. |
