But now even the most diehard fans will likely start turning their focus to next year - the team today has been officially eliminated from playoff contention. Philadelphia last appeared in the postseason in 2022. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 9 times in their 13-year history.
