Hitting Streak Still Alive for Ishii Friday, August 15th, 2025 Win, lose or draw -- Akio Ishii just keeps on getting base hits -- game after game after game. He has now stretched his hitting streak to 20 games. The Philadelphia Freedom center fielder picked up 2 hits in 4 at-bats today, but it wasn't enough to win the game. His club was defeated 4-1 by the Antioch Coal Miners at The Bell. Akio Ishii singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.
