KSL Premier Pitcher is Fairfield's Warnecke Tuesday, July 1st, 2025 There's something about a young rookie winning the Kade Stenson League Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Ed Warnecke, a 27-year-old starter for the Fairfield Flash. In June, he topped off the month with a 4-1 mark and 2.53 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 42.2 innings, fanned 32 and held opposing teams to a .213 average. Up to now Warnecke has recorded a record of 8-1. In 12 starts he has fanned 67 batters in 84 innings with a 3.64 ERA. |
