Star of the Week Awarded in BCL Monday, June 16th, 2025 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Vancouver right fielder Rafael Cruz. He went on a rampage last week against BCL hurlers and rapped out 14 hits in 28 at-bats for a .500 average while hitting 3 home runs, driving in 7 runs and scoring 8 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the Blake Camden League Player of the Week trophy. Cruz was honored today at a press conference. For the season, Cruz is hitting at a .295 clip with 6 home runs, 23 RBIs and has scored 23 runs. He has 36 hits, 11 walks and a .346 on-base percentage. |
