Chio of Coronado Crowned Best Player Monday, June 16th, 2025 The Coronado Phantoms received word today that shortstop San-pao Chio was selected Kade Stenson League Player of the Week for his stellar performance in last week's games. Chio took full advantage of all 27 plate appearances last week as he hit .407 with 11 hits, 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This year Chio is hitting .292 with 7 home runs and 29 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .327 clip and scored 22 runs. |
