Eugene Heady Out of Action Friday, May 30th, 2025 It took the Philadelphia team doctor a while to realize it, but first baseman Eugene Heady won't simply play through a ruptured finger tendon after he got hurt making a defensive play in today's Fireballs-Freedom game. At first, it looked like Heady might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 4 months. To date this year Heady is batting .304 with 6 home runs. |
