Lewis Hits in 30 Consecutive Games Friday, April 25th, 2025 Fairfield's Frank Lewis was 2-for-3 in the Flash 2-1 victory over the Joplin Fireballs. That stretched his hitting streak to 30 games. In the clubhouse after the win, the 27-year-old Lewis told reporters, "I'm in a groove right now, and I am trying to stay there by doing the same things over and over again. If I change something, it might bring me bad luck." Frank Lewis singled in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and grounded out in the 9th. For the year Lewis has hit .444 with 1 home run, 9 RBIs and scored 10 runs. |
