20-Game Hitting Streak for Raman Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025 Long hitting streaks don't happen very often and when they happen it perks up everybody's interest. No one knows how long it will go -- it could end tomorrow -- but baseball fans and Adhivahana Raman are enjoying the moment right now. The 21-year-old Bronx right fielder extended his string to 20 consecutive games in The Bell today. Raman got 2 hits, but the Philadelphia Freedom got the victory. They toppled the Bombers 6-3. Adhivahana Raman singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. Currently Raman is batting .443 with 27 hits and no home runs. He has knocked in 8 runs and scored 15 times. |
