Barrett Named 2024 BCL Silver Slugger Award Winner Monday, October 28th, 2024 Jason Barrett of the Detroit Death Stars proved that you can step out of the shadows and onto the stage if you've got the talent and the drive to hone your skills. Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the Blake Camden League Silver Slugger Award. Barrett hit for a .322 average while collecting 217 hits, 37 doubles, 5 triples, 30 home runs, 105 RBIs and scoring 145 times. Michael Comelay of the Pasadena Bumblebees finished second in voting, while Ray Clark of the Reno Raiders finished third. |
