Kent's Hit Streak Soars to 31 Games Sunday, September 29th, 2024 Jeff Kent's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 31 games. The Mexico City right fielder smacked 3 hits against Fairfield in today's game at Durham Bulls Athletic Park to extend it, but he has mixed emotions about it. After losing to the Fairfield Flash, Kent told reporters, "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose." Jeff Kent singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 10th. To date this season Kent is hitting .336 with 3 home runs. |
