Mayfield Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Friday, September 27th, 2024 Arnie Mayfield of the El Paso Diablos just keeps going and going. The hot-hitting first baseman went 2-for-3 in his team's 10-3 victory over the South Bay Arsenal at Hell Stadium and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. "He is definitely on a roll right now" said a Arsenal pitcher. "I thought I made some good pitches against him, but he's a good hitter and hit 'em anyway."
