Injury Takes Toll, Enrique Morales Out Tuesday, September 24th, 2024 Reno Raiders closer Enrique Morales left yesterday's game against the Astoria Argonauts after suffering a torn flexor tendon in his elbow throwing a pitch. Morales was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Morales is expected to miss 11-12 months. This season Morales has 5 saves. In 11 relief appearances he has tossed 9.1 innings, struck out 8 and issued 4 walks with a 0-0 record. The Reno reliever has recorded a 0.00 ERA and allowed the opposition to hit .161 when he is in the game. |
