Bryant on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Mdewanketon Monday, September 9th, 2024 History in the making. That's what the fans at Mystic Lake Stadium got to see today, when Indian Wells outplayed the Sabercats 23-8. Sean Bryant of the Aeropostales came to the plate 5 times and came away with a dynamite day as he exploded for 5 hits against Mdewanketon. In the postgame press conference the Mdewanketon skipper quipped to reporters, "Hey, we tried to get him out. We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the kitchen sink." Sean Bryant singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, walked in the 7th, singled in the 8th and walked in the 9th. Looking at his present stats, Bryant has compiled a .346 batting average in 144 games with a .423 on-base percentage, while hitting 23 home runs and driving in 108 runs. |
