Injury Forces Robert Howard Out Thursday, September 5th, 2024 The Billings Mustangs learned that Robert Howard is likely to be out for 4-5 months after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Antioch Coal Miners. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be bone chips in his elbow. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Billings manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Robert is back in action." In 28 starts this season Howard has registered a 6-13 record and a 6.64 ERA. |
