Hitting Streak Still Alive for Luna Friday, August 23rd, 2024 Silver Lake second baseman Julián Luna keeps on racking up hits in every game he plays in. His hitting streak now stands at 20 games after collecting 1 hit in today's game. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out. I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've been a little lucky," said Luna after the Baristas 5-2 victory over the Cats. Julián Luna grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th and flied out in the 8th. Thus far this year Luna has hit .288 with no home runs and 25 RBIs. |
