Hope Dims for Joo's Recovery Tuesday, August 20th, 2024 Zhi-peng Joo's playing days are over. His career has been cut short due to a severe injury sustained in yesterday's game against the Amarillo Horseman at Horseman Field. The 20-year-old Sabercats center fielder was injured making a defensive play and suffered a fractured skull. During the current season Joo is batting at a .293 clip with 8 home runs and 56 RBIs. He has played in 95 games and scored 52 times. |
