Cruz at His Best, Whips Diablos Sunday, August 4th, 2024 In a splendid 6-0 shutout performance, Román Cruz of the Fort Worth Cats subdued the El Paso Diablos on a 2-hitter. His manager said in postgame comments, "He kept hitting his spots and putting up zeroes." Cruz registered 8 strikeouts and 2 walks. Thus far this season Cruz has posted a 3-3 record, started 13 games, struck out 67 batters in 69.2 innings and compiled a 5.04 ERA. |
