Just ask Bao-tian Fan, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Fort Worth Cats closer, 22, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .267 average and walked away with the Kade Stenson League Pitcher of the Month award for July. Fan posted a 3-0 mark and a 0.00 ERA in 12 relief appearances. In 12.2 innings, he had 7 saves, 9 strikeouts, and 2 walks. This year Fan has collected 10 saves.
