BCL Player of the Week Named Monday, July 29th, 2024 The Blake Camden League made it official today: Zak Ellis is the Player of the Week. He really glistened on the diamond this week with a .591 average to take home the honor. The Astoria second baseman went 13-for-22, drove in 5 runs, scored 9 times and hit 1 home run. This year Ellis is hitting .399 with 1 home run and 33 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .459 clip and scored 44 runs. |
