June's Best Batter Announced Monday, July 1st, 2024 Indian Wells Aeropostales fans believe they've got a talented young star in Jorge Martínez. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in June, as he hit .350 with 5 home runs, 18 RBIs and 26 runs scored. The end result was the shortstop being named the Kade Stenson League Batter of the Month. In 60 games Martínez is hitting .335 this season with 72 hits, 10 home runs, 38 RBIs, 47 walks, .451 OBP and has scored 56 runs. |
