Wood Goes 5-for-5 Friday, June 14th, 2024 Jim Wood was on fire today and sparked his club to a 7-6 victory over the Aeropostales. The Fairfield left fielder was a tough out and went 5 for 5 against Indian Wells in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody... and some days they fall in." Jim Wood doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. In his season totals, Wood has 13 home runs, .284 BA, .320 OBP, 43 RBIs and 35 runs scored. He has played in 65 games. |
