Lott Slaps 5 Hits Sunday, June 9th, 2024 Getting 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Minneapolis's Greg Lott had a very special day against the Bumblebees when everything came together for him. He really swung the bat with authority, getting 5 hits in 5 at-bats. However, it was Pasadena that picked up the victory. They topped the Freeze 16-11 at The Hole. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Lott said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em. I had a great day, but the loss kinda put a damper on the day." Disappointed or not, he still gets his name written in the record books. Greg Lott hit a three-run home run off Kyoji Mizutani in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 9th. This year Lott is batting .293 with 3 home runs and 16 RBIs. |
