Going, Going, Gone! Comelay Hits 3 Homers Saturday, June 8th, 2024 Fireworks exploded with regularity in the Bumblebees-Freeze game, but it wasn't a match that set them off -- it was the bat of Michael Comelay. He belted 3 home runs in an awesome display of sheer power. In the 14-2 Pasadena victory Comelay stunned the Freeze pitching staff for 3 hits in 4 at-bats and knocked in 9 runs. After the game, Comelay said simply, "I saw everything they threw at me. Hitting was a piece of cake today... with lots of extra icing on it." Michael Comelay flied out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Robinson Pedercini in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Reynaldo Cardona in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Tadashi Sakamoto in the 8th. To date this season Comelay is hitting .287 with 9 home runs. |
