Argonauts Zachary Wonnocott Swings Hot Bat, BCL Winner Monday, June 3rd, 2024 Astoria Argonauts catcher Zachary Wonnocott walked away with the Blake Camden League Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Argonauts fans are really behind me right now," said the 28-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Wonnocott batted .529 (9-for-17) with 4 home runs and 11 RBIs this week on his way to the award. This season Wonnocott has hit at a .291 clip and produced 34 RBI, 13 home runs and 33 runs. |
