5-for-5 Game for Miller Saturday, May 11th, 2024 "Ever since I picked up my first bat my coaches were always saying to keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing... just make contact and ya never know what'll happen," Coronado's Paul Miller told reporters after the game. "That's all I did today. I made contact and it turned out well." It definitely turned out well for Miller today as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats against El Paso. It turned out well for his team, too, as the Phantoms knocked off the Diablos 11-2 at Hell Stadium. Paul Miller singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Stacey Pleijt in the 8th. For the season Miller has produced 56 hits in 153 at-bats for a .366 average with 8 home runs and gotten on base at a .421 clip. |
