Barrett on the Attack, Player of the Week Monday, May 6th, 2024 Jason Barrett is respected by most Detroit Death Stars fans for his no-frills style of play. The 28-year-old left fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Blake Camden League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .387 average (12-for-31) with 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 9 runs scored. So far this season Barrett has gotten 45 hits in 136 at-bats for a .331 batting average with 8 home runs.
