Hitting Streak Still Alive for Clark Friday, April 19th, 2024 Ray Clark of the Reno Raiders just keeps going and going. The hot-hitting second baseman went 2-for-5 in his team's 4-3 victory over the Astoria Argonauts at Golden Fleece Park and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. "He is definitely on a roll right now" said a Argonauts pitcher. "I thought I made some good pitches against him, but he's a good hitter and hit 'em anyway." When asked about his performance, Clark said, "I don't care if I go hitless as long as we get the win." Ray Clark hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, struck out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. This season Clark has hit at a .397 clip and produced 18 RBI, 3 home runs and 11 runs. |
