Ishii of Chicago BCL Batter of the Month Sunday, October 1st, 2023 Masatake Ishii is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Chicago right fielder joined that select company when the Blake Camden League announced the results of September's voting. Ishii totaled 33 hits, 17 walks, 10 home runs, 29 RBIs and 25 runs scored last month to put together a .367 batting average and .472 on-base percentage. So far this season, Ishii has recorded a .316 batting average with 119 hits, 23 home runs, 71 RBIs, 70 runs scored and a .402 OBP. |
