Reynaldo Yánez to Miss 9-10 Months Saturday, September 30th, 2023 "I'm frustrated right now," said Astoria reliever Reynaldo Yánez. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Argonauts, that's where he will be spending 9-10 months. Yánez suffered a stretched elbow ligament in today's game against Pasadena while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." This year Yánez has made 5 relief appearances with no saves. In 6.2 innings, he has fanned 8 hitters and recorded no wins and no losses with a 2.70 ERA. |
