Week's Premier Player: Acapulco's Wu Monday, August 14th, 2023 Acapulco Banditos catcher Run-ming Wu walked away with the Kade Stenson League Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Banditos fans are really behind me right now," said the 21-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Wu batted .353 (6-17) with 5 home runs and 10 RBIs this week on his way to the award. For the year Wu is batting .271 with 7 home runs. |
