Ito: Big Hit in the Blake Camden League Monday, August 7th, 2023 It was a fantastic week for Pasadena left fielder Osamu Ito and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the Blake Camden League Player of the Week Award. Last week Ito hammered the ball at a torrid .563 pace, going 9-16 with 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season Ito has banged out 48 hits in 178 at-bats for a .270 average with 13 home runs. He is getting on base at a .337 pace and his totals also include 33 RBIs and 37 runs scored. |
