Banks Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Reno Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023 His run was over, but a Joplin victory took some of the disappointment out of Rick Banks losing his 25-game hitting streak. The 26-year-old third baseman did not get a hit in 3 at-bats, but the Fireballs whipped the Reno Raiders 9-5 today at House of Pain. Looking at his stats this year, Banks has compiled a .275 batting average, while hitting 13 home runs and driving in 40 runs. He has played in 100 games and scored 67 runs. |
