Red-Hot Sato Scorches Banditos Wednesday, July 26th, 2023 Ichizo Sato really sizzled at the plate today. In a game played at Underdogs Ballpark, the Coronado shortstop blistered the Acapulco Banditos for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a 10-5 victory. "Sato was too tough to get out today," the Banditos skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Ichizo Sato singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and singled in the 9th. This year Sato is batting .367 with 1 home run. |
