P'o Goes on Rampage Against Raiders Tuesday, July 25th, 2023 It doesn't happen very often, but it happened for Chong-chun P'o -- a 5-hit day. He went on a rampage at House of Pain and paced the Freeze to a 14-9 win over the Reno Raiders. After his dynamite batting performance the Minneapolis left fielder told the press, "I just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid some great dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. Chong-chun P'o hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a three-run triple in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. This year P'o is batting .338 with 70 hits and 6 home runs. He has scored 34 times and has batted in 33 runs. |
