Hitting Streak Still Alive for Banks Tuesday, July 25th, 2023 Rick Banks's bat has been smoking lately as he went 1-for-5 in today's 9-4 triumph over Pasadena at The Firepit. The 26-year-old third baseman for the Joplin Fireballs has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games. Rick Banks grounded out in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Rufino Sardinha in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. Banks is batting .270 this season in 94 games with 12 home runs, 38 RBIs and 63 runs scored. He has 98 hits in 363 at-bats. |
