Injury Forces Eric Billings Out Sunday, July 23rd, 2023 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Eric Billings of the Fireballs knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Vancouver Canadians while throwing a pitch. Because of a torn rotator cuff, the Joplin starting pitcher is expected to miss 4-5 months.
