Hunt 5-6 Against Freeze Monday, June 19th, 2023 5 hits in 6 at-bats. It doesn't happen every day, and when it does, it's exciting. Today Will Hunt of the Antioch Coal Miners had a sensational game against Minneapolis at The Ice Box. He rifled base hits all over the ballpark in his team's 11-6 shellacking of the Freeze. In the postgame press conference he joked, "Heck, that's a week's worth of hitting for me and I did ,it all in one day. I guess I can take the rest of the week off. Right, skipper?" Will Hunt hit a solo-shot off Robinson Pedercini in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 9th and grounded out in the 9th. This season Hunt has hit at a .322 clip with 34 RBIs, 11 home runs and 60 runs scored. |
