Giugino Whitewashes Fort Worth Friday, May 12th, 2023 Silver Lake hurler Cristoforo Giugino was at his best as he whitewashed the Fort Worth Cats 7-0 today. "He just kept the ball down, did a good job, made his pitches," said the Fort Worth manager. "We didn't do a good job making adjustments, so we helped him out a little bit." Giugino fired a 3-hitter and totaled 6 strikeouts and 2 walks in the shutout performance. This season Giugino has worked 54.2 innings with 55 strikeouts en route to a 3-2 record and a 3.29 ERA. |
