O'Rorke Goes 5-6 Against El Paso Sunday, April 16th, 2023 Indian Wells center fielder Everett O'Rorke could do no wrong in today's 19-11 win over the Diablos as he collected 5 hits. "In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor... he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Diablos said to the press corps after the game. O'Rorke agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." Everett O'Rorke hit a two-run single in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. Presently O'Rorke is batting .259 and has collected no home runs, 5 RBIs, .333 OBP and scored 3 runs. |
